How can I see how much an item sold for (search completed listings)?

If you want to see what an item has sold for, you can search for completed (ended) listings. Completed listings are listings that have ended within the last 15 days, including both items that did and did not sell.

Important: You need to sign into your account to see the search results. If you’re not an eBay member, you can register for free.

To search for completed listings:
  1. Click the “Advanced Search” link, located next to the search box at the top of most eBay pages.

  2. In the “Enter keywords or item number” field, enter two or three words that describe the item. If you know the exact item number, enter it in this field.

  3. Select the “Completed listings” option.

  4. Click the Search button.
