In Malaysia, it is an offense to offer for sale any communications equipment that do not comply with the standards of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and that have not been certified. Most types of communications equipment are also subject to import controls. However, small quantities (one or two sets) of certain electronic equipment can be imported for an individual’s own use.
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
Limits placed on account privileges
Loss of PowerSeller status
Example of prohibited electronics equipment:
Broadcast receivers capable of receiving radio, communication within the ranges (68-87) MHz and (108-174) MHz except those designed to receive meteorological broadcasts at spot frequencies (except those for the use of the telecommunication authority)

Why does eBay have this policy?
eBay urges its sellers and buyers to comply with all governmental laws and regulations. Since the sale of certain electronic equipment has been prohibited or regulated in Malaysia, sellers may not list them on eBay.
